CANCELLATION POLICY
No Charge - More than 24 hours before day of appoinment.
$350 - If less than 24 hours before day of appointment
When you book an appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to other clients & patients in need. We understand that your pet's condition can change unexpectedly, so if you need to cancel or postpone, we respectfully request a 24-HOUR NOTICE by phone.
If we arrive to your home for the euthanasia appointment, and the patient has already passed away, we can provide removal & transport of your pet for Bubbling Wells cremation for a fee of $350. This compensates the veterinarian for their time in addition to providing removal and transport service. If we arrive to your home and mutually decide to postpone the euthanasia, we can provide a Quality of Life Consult in lieu of Euthanasia service at $450.00
Aftercare Options
Body Removal & Transport FOR BUBBLING WELLS CREMATION
$150 - This is for patients we have provided euthanasia services for and need transport for cremation. Communal and Private Cremations are available through Bubbling Wells.

Other Fees
BODY pickup, removal & TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
If the patient has already passed, we can provide body transport based on support team availability. This fee does not include consultation with a veterinarian or care of remains. If post-mortem exam is needed, contavt our office for availabilty.
$300 - Body Removal for deceased patient (0-25 lbs)
$475 - Body Removal for deceased patient( >25 lbs)
+ $100/ hr — Travel time for tech body transportation outside of the City of San Francisco
Bites & State Required Rabies Testing
Please Be Advised:
If your pet bites or has bitten any person (puncturing the skin enough to bleed) less than 10 days prior to euthanasia service, we will be required by law to submit your pet's body to your local county health department for rabies testing.
This will incur an additional fee of $300 for complying with this legal requirement.
WEEKDAY HOSPICE APPOINTMENT
$750- Must be scheduled one or more days in advance. (Note: Includes up to 30 days of case management, excluding additional medications and tests)
WEEKEND HOSPICE APPOINTMENT
$800- Must be scheduled one or more days in advance. (Note: Includes up to 30 days of case management, excluding additional medications and tests)
